Overweight, depressed, and ashamed of what I allowed myself to become.
I decided I wanted a different life. I wanted a life filled with joy, friendships, experiences and laughter rather than depression, seclusion, self-disgust, and pity.
Changed my mindset to one of determination and hope rather than disgust and despair. I was worth it!
I put food in its place and used it as a way to fuel my body rather than hide from my emotions.
Then, I slowly incorporated movement into my weekly routine until I became fitter and fitter.
In the end, I lost 45 lbs while gaining self-confidence, self-worth and self-love.
