I decided I wanted a different life. I wanted a life filled with joy, friendships, experiences and laughter rather than depression, seclusion, self-disgust, and pity.

Then, I slowly incorporated movement into my weekly routine until I became fitter and fitter.
In the end, I lost 45 lbs while gaining self-confidence, self-worth and self-love. That was over 20 years ago.
